What we cover from Birmingham
Our office sits at 421 2nd Avenue North in Birmingham, which puts us downtown rather than out on a ring road. From there it is a short run over Red Mountain into Homewood, Mountain Brook and Vestavia Hills, south down 31 and 280 through Hoover toward Chelsea, and east along 11 and 59 to Trussville. We cover a good deal more than the towns listed on this site — if you are not sure whether your street is in range, call (205) 382-8991 and ask.
We install four things, and only four. Christmas and seasonal displays go up for the season and come back down, with removal and storage included. JellyFish permanent lighting and Bosso smart lighting are app-controlled tracks fitted under the roofline and left in place, which is the answer for the tall over-the-mountain elevations that are a genuine ordeal to re-hang every year. Commercial and HOA work covers storefronts, offices, entrances and common areas, scheduled around your trading hours.
What “done right” means here
Central Alabama is wet more than it is cold. December averages a high near 55°F and a low near 36°F here, and winter is the wettest part of the year, so a display spends weeks soaked, drops below freezing overnight and thaws again by mid-morning. That cycle is what works a cheap clip loose, and the occasional ice event finishes the job. We use commercial-grade product, fix to the structure rather than through roofing material, and service the run during the season.
The other half is the tree canopy and the hills. Mountain Brook is famous for its mature hardwoods, and Homewood, Vestavia Hills and Redmont are built on the slopes of Red and Shades Mountain, so sightlines are broken by trees and the ground rarely lets a lift stand where you would want it. That is worked out on the site visit, not on install morning.
No hard sell at the consult. We walk the property, show you where the run will sit and how it will read from the street, and give you a number that is the number. If one product suits your roofline better than the other, we say so — including when that is the cheaper one.
