Lighting built for Homewood rooflines
Homewood is close-in, older and tightly built, and that shapes the work. Edgewood and Hollywood are full of 1920s to 1940s brick and stone bungalows and Tudors on modest lots with big street trees, so runs are shorter than in the outer suburbs but rarely simpler — deep eaves, tile and slate, and porch detail that a standard clip cannot grip. Being at the foot of Red Mountain, the streets also climb, which affects how a display reads from below.
Most Homewood houses are within genuine reach, which makes a well-built seasonal display good value here in a way it is not on a three-storey Hoover elevation. Permanent lighting still does well on the later infill and the renovated houses where the fascia has been squared up. The 18th Street district adds compact commercial frontage a few minutes from our office.
What a Homewood install actually takes
Tight lots and street trees are the practical constraint. There is often nowhere obvious to put a lift, and the working room between houses is narrow, so access gets settled on the site visit. Fixings are matched to the actual edge, and on the tile and slate roofs common in Edgewood the run stays on the fascia line entirely.
The 18th Street and Broadway frontages are real commercial work — restaurants and shops where the lighting has to read as architecture and where an evening cannot be lost to an install. Those runs are sectioned and scheduled around trading hours.

What we install
Christmas & Seasonal
Full-service holiday displays: design, commercial-grade lights, installation, in-season service, then takedown and storage.
JellyFish Permanent
Track-mounted permanent lighting tucked under the roofline. Millions of colors, app controlled, holiday or everyday.
Bosso Smart Lighting
A permanent lighting alternative with its own fixture and control system. We fit it to homes JellyFish does not suit.
Commercial & HOA
Storefronts, offices, common areas and entrances, scheduled installs that work around your business hours.
Christmas and seasonal light installation in Homewood
Seasonal lighting is a full service, not a box of lights from a shelf. We design the display around your roofline, install commercial-grade product cut to fit your house, and service it through the season if anything goes dark. After the holidays we take it down and store it until next year, so nothing lives in your garage and nothing gets crushed between seasons.
Booking order decides the calendar. Installs run in the order they are booked, so the earliest dates go to whoever called first. If you want the lights on before the first weekend of December, get on the list well before the season starts.

Permanent outdoor lighting in Homewood
Permanent lighting is a slim track fixed under the roofline that stays up all year and reads as trim from the street. Run warm white on an ordinary evening, color through December, orange and white for a Saturday in autumn, or switch it off entirely. It is all controlled from an app, so nobody climbs anything.
We install two systems. JellyFish is the one most people have heard of and we are an authorized dealer. Bosso is an alternative with its own fixture and control system that suits some rooflines better. We bring both to the consult and tell you which fits your house, including when that is the cheaper option.
Commercial and HOA lighting in Homewood
We light storefronts, offices, entrances and common areas as well as homes. Commercial work is scheduled around your trading hours so the install never costs you a business day, and a larger property can be phased across several visits.
If an HOA, a landlord or a historic district has rules about fixture color, brightness or where a track may sit, bring them to the consult and we design to them from the start rather than asking for an exception later.

How it works
