Lighting built for Mountain Brook rooflines
Mountain Brook is the most demanding roofline work in the metro, and that is a compliment to the houses. Most of the city was laid out from the 1920s onward as a garden suburb, so you get brick and stone with steep pitches, slate and tile, dormers, and eaves detailed in ways that leave very little straight fascia. Over all of it sits one of the heaviest mature tree canopies of any suburb in the South, which means the display is read in fragments through hardwoods rather than as one clean outline.
The practical answer here is usually a permanent track where the fascia will take one, because re-hanging a house like this from a ladder every November is the job people most want to stop doing. Where the trim will not carry a channel discreetly, we build a seasonal display designed around the detail instead. Crestline Village, English Village and Mountain Brook Village bring commercial frontage on the same streets.
What a Mountain Brook install actually takes
Access decides the day. Narrow lanes, mature hardwoods over the drive, and lots that fall away behind the house mean the lift position is often the hardest decision on site, not the design. Fixings are then chosen for the actual edge — slate, tile, copper gutter and decorative fascia all want different hardware, and nothing goes through roofing material. We measure the whole run before quoting.
The villages are a separate piece of work. Crestline, English and Mountain Brook Village are compact retail and restaurant frontages where an unlit facade next to a lit one is immediately obvious, and where a lift cannot sit in the road on a December Saturday. Those runs get sectioned and scheduled around trading hours.

What we install
Christmas & Seasonal
Full-service holiday displays: design, commercial-grade lights, installation, in-season service, then takedown and storage.
JellyFish Permanent
Track-mounted permanent lighting tucked under the roofline. Millions of colors, app controlled, holiday or everyday.
Bosso Smart Lighting
A permanent lighting alternative with its own fixture and control system. We fit it to homes JellyFish does not suit.
Commercial & HOA
Storefronts, offices, common areas and entrances, scheduled installs that work around your business hours.
Christmas and seasonal light installation in Mountain Brook
Seasonal lighting is a full service, not a box of lights from a shelf. We design the display around your roofline, install commercial-grade product cut to fit your house, and service it through the season if anything goes dark. After the holidays we take it down and store it until next year, so nothing lives in your garage and nothing gets crushed between seasons.
Booking order decides the calendar. Installs run in the order they are booked, so the earliest dates go to whoever called first. If you want the lights on before the first weekend of December, get on the list well before the season starts.

Permanent outdoor lighting in Mountain Brook
Permanent lighting is a slim track fixed under the roofline that stays up all year and reads as trim from the street. Run warm white on an ordinary evening, color through December, orange and white for a Saturday in autumn, or switch it off entirely. It is all controlled from an app, so nobody climbs anything.
We install two systems. JellyFish is the one most people have heard of and we are an authorized dealer. Bosso is an alternative with its own fixture and control system that suits some rooflines better. We bring both to the consult and tell you which fits your house, including when that is the cheaper option.
Commercial and HOA lighting in Mountain Brook
We light storefronts, offices, entrances and common areas as well as homes. Commercial work is scheduled around your trading hours so the install never costs you a business day, and a larger property can be phased across several visits.
If an HOA, a landlord or a historic district has rules about fixture color, brightness or where a track may sit, bring them to the consult and we design to them from the start rather than asking for an exception later.
